Methodist church to host classical music concert

Skaneateles United Methodist Church will host “Dreams and Desires: An Evening of Classical Music,” Friday, Sept. 28, beginning at 8 p.m. The participating artists are known in the Central New York area for their work with the Syracuse Opera and Syracuse Symphony. All proceeds will go to the church's Roof Revival Fund.

Tokarzes to renew vows for 75th wedding anniversary

Frank and Veronica Tokarz will be renewing their marriage vows on Monday, Sept. 17, at the 8:15 a.m. Mass, St. Mary's of the Lake Church in Skaneateles, in preparation for their 75th wedding anniversary the following day. A reception will be held after Mass for anyone wishing to join them.
