Thanks from the Outreach

The holiday season is past and we would like to express our sincere thanks to all those in the community that helped make it brighter for those in need.

Help came in so many ways starting with food drives at the schools then the middle school students shopping for toys with the help of Todd’s Fund and Friends of Dave Pirro.

There were giving trees at the churches, the Rotary Club’s Annual Holiday Dinner, beautiful baskets, decorated Christmas trees from State Street School, donated smoke detectors from the fire department, the Red Kettle bell ringers and all of Santa’s helpers out shopping.

Donations came from many places in the community, businesses, churches, friends and neighbors. It is in difficult times that communities come together to help those in need and Skaneateles as a community did an outstanding job again this year.

If you are in need of assistance the Skaneateles Outreach office is here to help. Residents of the Town of Skaneateles or the Skaneateles School District can contact the Outreach office for information on programs available. For confidential assistance call 685-0427.
