Elan Interiors will hold its grand opening Thursday, Oct. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. at 37 Fennell Street.
Skaneateles Elan Interiors, a full service interior design firm, announced the grand opening of Elan Interiors Home Boutique in the Village of Skaneateles. The boutique will offer home accessories, hostess and wedding gifts, and a small selection of furniture.
The shop is an expansion of interior design firm Elan Interiors, which is owned and operated by Skaneateles resident and native, Charity Swanson Buchika. Charity, a nationally trained and certified designer, opened the firm’s Syracuse office after relocating to Skaneateles four years ago.
Elan Interiors specializes in both residential and commercial design. Recent projects include the interior design of the Hotel Skyler in Syracuse, which is one of only three hotels in the United States to seek LEED certification for green building.
The shop is open to the public weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Buchika will also offer personalized shopping for custom tailored gifts, as well as design and décor consultation by appointment.
“The boutique is a natural extension of my design business,” said Buchika. “I will be offering distinctive furniture, accessories, and gifts for those looking for unique and unusual finds. The selection will be traditional and timeless with a few fun and vintage options. At the core, the shop is a reflection of what I strive to achieve for my design clients — simple elegance.”
Elan Interiors Home Boutique is located at 37 Fennell Street, next door to Creekside Books & Coffee and in the Long Lake Custom Framing building.
A fall open house is scheduled for Oct. 6 from 5 to 8 p.m.
